Together, We Can Prevent Homelessness for Hardworking Families
Along with our non-profit partner Modest Needs, here’s how we’re improving lives:
Modest Needs provides grants to individuals and families in temporary crisis.
Because these individuals and families are working and living just above the poverty level, they are ineligible for most types of conventional social assistance.
But they are living one or two lost paychecks away from the kind of financial catastrophe that eventually leads to homelessness.
We do everything in our power to stop these at-risk households from slipping into the cycle of poverty, despite the burden posed by an unanticipated, emergency expense.
